Resources and support to assist small, mid-sized members businesses in developing and/or refining inclusion-based marketing strategies to improve outreach efforts to diverse communities.


BizDiversity is looking for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant to serve as a strategist and execution focused leader of DEI program to provide support to our business community thru projects and initiatives that provide support to businesses in following areas talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, retention programs, and health equity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Position will work with our community to help raise consciousness of the small and mid-sized businesses we work with in around DEI initiatives.

Core Services and Deliverables:

  • Building a resources database for diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborating with others to establish marketing for diversity and inclusion – internally/externally.
  • Creating DEI recaps and articles on BizDiversity Blog
  • Creating and building external relationships with individuals and organizations that support BizDiversity diversity objectives, and developing a network of diversity recruitment sources
  • Developing internal and external partnerships and collaborations
  • Facilitating some learning workshops
  • Participating in sponsored community efforts


  • Excellent understanding of D&I concepts and principles and how it relates to other disciplines across the HR and the business. Is passionate about issues of equity and inclusivity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a diplomatic and direct communicator who can distill information into a digestible presentation for a diverse audience at every level of the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of diversity metrics, research and analytics.
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple projects at once

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Diversity Management or closely related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO requirements.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in diversity management/consultation or active participation in workplace diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in facilitating or presenting workplace content.


  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or Diversity Management
  • Experience with talent development and talent pipelining.
